These days there are quite a few people wearing toe socks on a regular basis whether they’re looking to deal with their sweaty feet, have something comfortable on to do yoga without wearing shoes, or just for more toe range of motion.
There are surprisingly quite a few benefits of wearing toe socks and I personally love wearing them because they don’t make my feet sweat as much and they help to prevent any blisters from forming in between my toes especially when I’m wearing new shoes and doing a lot of traveling.
It was actually my wife that got me hooked on this type of sock so I went online and started to look for the best toe socks to wear around.
I noticed that there were quite a few different options to choose from so I wanted to create this post in order to go over some of my top recommendations as well as make somewhat of a starting point for anyone else looking for toe socks to wear.
Let’s take a look at my recommendations.
The Best Toe Socks
Injinji Run 2.0 Lightweight No-Show
It’s the Injinji Run 2.0 Lightweight No-Shows that I would recommend checking out if you’re looking for the best toe socks for running, traveling, or just wearing around on a regular basis.
These are available in a wide variety of different colors and patterns and they’re made from a blend of polyester, nylon, and lycra so they offer a suitable fit while still being stretchy and comfortable to wear.
Thanks to the materials that they’re designed from the sock are able to wick sweat and moisture away from your feet and keep them dry while you’re going about your day.
They’re also quite thin and boast a minimalist style so they don’t take up too much space in your shoes and likely aren’t you going to bunch of awkwardly in the front or back.
There are different sizes available so whether you have a small foot or large foot you can choose between a range of different sizes so that the sock is better able to fit your foot.
The seamless toe box means there aren’t going to be any seems that you feel when you’re walking around and there’s also a reinforced heel that helps to add more durability in the heel area that typically experiences a lot of wear
One more feature that I like that there is a dual welt band that helps to keep the sock compressed and in place while it’s on and there’s also a small tab on the back that makes putting it on a little more easier while helping to protect against chafing and blisters on the back of the shoe.
Injinji Trail Midweight Crew Xtralife
The Injinji Trail Midweight Crew Xtralife are another pair of toe socks that I would recommend checking out if you’re looking for something longer that you can use during the day or to use for hiking, running, or any other outdoor activities.
These are a bit longer so they’re not like your typical ankle socks and they’re good if you’re wearing boots or if you just want a little bit more warmth up your leg without having your ankles exposed during the colder months.
The toe socks offer a little bit of cushioning that helps to make them more comfortable when you’re wearing them out hiking around or just walking and there’s a double elastic cuff that helps to keep them securely in place while preventing dirt and debris from entering the sock.
They’re also quite breathable and moisture wicking as they’re designed from a blend of nylon, CoolMax, and lycra so they’re stretchy and suitable to wear in shoes without having to worry so much about sweaty feet and damp socks like is quite common with cotton.
There are also a few different colors and patterns available to choose from so it’s possible to find one that best matches your preferences although the bottom part of each sock is completely black with the logo across the top of the foot part.
ToeSox Women’s Grip Half Toe Bella Socks
The ToeSox Women’s Grip Half Toe Bella Socks are suitable choice and something I’d recommend checking out for anyone doing any indoor activities like yoga or Pilates where maybe you don’t want to wear any shoes and you also don’t want to go barefoot but you still want some protection and comfort.
These socks come equipped with a non-slip grip sole that helps to offer some grip when you’re walking around any indoor spaces like on smooth floors so they’re a very suitable choice to wear inside a yoga studio and anywhere similar.
They’re made from a blend of cotton and spandex with rubber grips so they’re comfortable and offer some compression as well that helps to keep them in place.
The toes are out in the open when the socks are on rather than being enclosed so they’re able to breathe a little bit more with your toes being able to grip the floor as well.
The top part of the sock is also open and this continues to help with breathability and the band that goes right around the ankle helps to keep them positioned on your foot properly even while you’re moving around.
I would definitely recommend checking out the ToeSox Women’s Grip Half Toe Bella Socks if you’re looking for something to wear inside a studio for something like dance, yoga, or pilates where it still possible for your feet to breathe and take advantage of a good grip.
FUN TOES Men’s Toe Socks
The FUN TOES Men’s Toe Socks come in a pack of 6 pairs and this really helps to ensure you’re able to wear more than just one or two pairs in a row before it’s time for you to do laundry again.
Depending on your preferences it’s possible to choose from a wide range of different colors and patterns so you can find pairs to match your outfit or just go for something fun and wacky.
These are made from a blend of polyester, nylon, and spandex so there are some moisture wicking properties in these materials and this really helps when it comes to sweaty feet during those hot summer days.
There’s a band at the ankle that helps to keep the socks positioned in place while they’re being worn and the material itself with the nylon and spandex helps to offer some compression when you’re out and about.
Whether you’re wearing them with your toe shoes or just your normal running shoes for better toe movement and range of motion I would definitely recommend checking out the FUN TOES Men’s Toe Socks, especially because they come in a pack of six and this means you have more than just one or two pairs to use during the week.
Injinji Liner Crew Toesocks
The Injinji Liner Crew Toesocks are actually designed to be worn as a liner inside another pair of socks but they can also be used as just a regular pair of socks if you’re looking for something thin and lightweight that still separates your toes inside your shoes or boots.
I’m quite surprised to see how much Injinji is killing it in the toe sock game but it just seems to be something that they excel at so there are quite a few different variations of their toe socks available depending on what you’re looking for.
These ones are made from a blend of polyester, nylon, and lycra and thanks to these materials you’re able to take advantage of suitable moisture management and moisture wicking which helps to keep your feet dry even when they’re sweating.
These toe socks help to prevent blisters from forming between the toes and also ensure that the toes are properly aligned while you’re out and about walking around.
As a liner they’re quite thin and they can be worn in conjunction with another pair of socks which further helps to prevent blisters from forming by eliminating skin on skin friction.
Also because of their thin design they can be quickly washed and left out to dry so if you’re camping, hiking, or spending time outdoors you can wash them without worrying about them taking ages to dry.
Injinji 2.0 Outdoor Original Weight Crew Nuwwol Socks
The Injinji 2.0 Outdoor Original Weight Crew Nuwwol Socks are a great choice and what I would recommend for anyone looking for toe socks for hiking or just to wear regularly to keep your toes warm and comfortable.
These are actually made from a blend of Merino wool, nylon, and spandex and Merino wool is one of my favorite materials when it comes to socks, underwear, and other items of clothing.
There are quite a few benefits to Merino wool including its moisture wicking ability as well as its comforts and along with the other benefits that the material offers make most Merino wool products a suitable choice to use for hiking and outdoor use.
With these socks you’re able to enjoy some arch support for added comfort when you’re walking around and your toes are able to sit in a more natural splayed position rather than being stuffed together like they are with your standard socks.
I would definitely recommend checking out the Injinji 2.0 Outdoor Original Weight Crew Nuwwol Socks if you’re looking for a pair of toe socks that are suitable to use for hiking, running, or just for everyday wear.
V-Toe Flip Flop Tabi Socks
The V-Toe Flip Flop Tabi Socks are one of my final recommendations and while you might think that they look quite weird these are actually something great to wear if you’re looking to wear socks with your flip-flops.
I’m not going to go into the debate right now about whether or not it’s fashionable to wear socks with flip flops but I do it myself when it’s cold out and I don’t want to wear a heavier pair of shoes so it’s only right that I recommend some socks for you to wear with flip flops as well.
Rather than having the space for each separate to these are designed with a space for your 4 smaller toes and a separate space for your big toe.
With this design it’s possible to wear them with flip-flops and you can also wear them with shoes, boots, or anything else is well.
These are great if you want to keep your toes warm and cozy while you’re wearing flip-flops while still being a little bit fashionable, at least in my opinion.
Depending on your preference is there are quite a few different colors and patterns to choose from so you hopefully can find ones that best match your style.
They’re made from a cotton breathable blend material so your feet are still able to breathe while being kept warm inside the socks when you’re wearing flip-flops and this way you don’t have to have your feet exposed if you just want to wear some flip flops out with a pair of jeans or something like that.
